Briefing of Sakernas August 2020 Officers

On 28 to 30 July 2020 BPS South Regency conducted a briefing for Sakernas August 2020 officers. It was different from before because for the prevention of Covid-19 the training was carried out with two methods for participants (Mandiri and Face-to-Face). Participants were previously required to carry out learning independently guided through WA Group by the Regional Instructor and then attend the briefing face to face in the office. To limit the participants, the briefing was divided into 3 waves with 1 wave each. After the briefing, officers will later leave the field to conduct updating of households until August 7, 2020 and enumeration from August 8 to 31, 2020.

In general, the purpose of the Sakernas August 2020 data collection is to provide sustainable labor baseline data. Specifically, Sakernas aims to obtain data on the number of working population, unemployment, other employment indicators, and representative developments at national, provincial and district / city levels. In addition Sakenas August 2020 also has a specific purpose for gathering information related to the impact of Covid-19 on employment.
