The availability of an up-to-date statistical working area master framework (Wilkerstat) is an important step in maintaining the quality of statistical data. To achieve this goal, continuous updating is a must. Without regular updating, statistical data will not reflect current realities, and this can influence decisions and policies made based on the data.
In order to support data updating efforts, North Sulawesi BPS will hold training on processing maps and building points resulting from ST2023. This training will last for two effective days, namely 24-25 July 2023. The training location will be at the Grand Whiz Hotel, Megamas Area, Jl. Pierre Tendern, Manado.
This activity will be attended by all district/city BPS in North Sulawesi Province, including BPS South Minahasa Regency. BPS South Minahasa will send 5 participants to take part in this training. It is hoped that participation from various regions will enrich discussions and exchange knowledge between participants.
This series of training activities will cover several important aspects, namely (1) processing the Wilkerstat map from the ST2023 results, (2) completing the building point master from the ST2023 results, and (3) improving the attributes of the Tutu Pan Laban map resulting from the 2022 activities.
It is hoped that the results of this activity will make a significant contribution to the preparation of the latest statistical work area master framework. It is hoped that the map data produced through this training will become a strong basis for further analysis, development planning and policy making based on accurate and up-to-date data. Continuity in updating statistical data is the key to success in achieving sustainable development goals.
